In Genesize, start with your expertise, audience and intended result. Build a structured draft, add your own examples, edit the content and prepare its cover and exports. You can then use that product to draft an editable sales funnel. You review and publish the offer yourself.
Kajabi’s Cofounder documentation describes an assistant for planning a business and drafting course, offer, page and email content. Its course tools also support AI-generated outlines. It would be inaccurate to describe Kajabi as only a place to upload finished files.
Ask both tools to work from the same small brief. Check whether the output teaches something useful, whether you can fix it easily and whether the finished format suits your buyer. A longer draft is not automatically a better product.

Compare usage rules separately. Genesize meters AI actions; manual editing, design changes and exports do not spend AI credits. Credit units from different companies are not interchangeable, so a larger credit number alone does not prove better value. Check the current quote and allowance for the work you intend to do.
A written course and a video classroom are different products
Genesize buyers can use the online written-course reader and supported downloads. The reader lets them resume and mark lessons complete themselves. Genesize does not currently host a video classroom, grade quizzes or issue completion certificates. Communities and paid memberships are future features.
Kajabi’s course documentation covers video, audio, text, files, quizzes, drip lessons and certificates. Its product overview also covers coaching, downloads and communities; cohort courses require Growth or Pro.
Choose by the promise you make
A client-kickoff guide with checklists is a sensible Genesize use case. A program that promises hosted videos, graded quizzes and a completion certificate needs those delivery tools. A lower subscription does not make up for a missing requirement.
Not sure which format to build? Read ebook vs online course. You can also create a resource in Genesize and use a separate selling or teaching platform if the export format works there. A full store move is not required just to try a new creation tool.
Compare the offer, checkout and follow-up
Genesize Starter connects product creation with a storefront, sales funnel, Stripe checkout, buyer access and sales analytics. Creator adds CRM tags and segments, email campaigns, automated follow-ups and AI Growth Agent guidance. Business adds more product and AI capacity.
Customer marketing email in Genesize needs the first paid subscription payment on an eligible plan. During a trial, you can prepare drafts and owner previews. Contact and sending limits still apply after payment; an included monthly allowance is not a promise that every message can be sent at once.
Kajabi brings Offers, landing pages, funnels and email campaigns into its product workflow. Check the documented selling workflow and the contact and automation limits of the plan you choose. Having these tools in one account does not remove the need to build demand or review your messages.

Compare a full year on the same billing basis
Twelve monthly payments for Genesize Creator total $696. Twelve monthly payments for Kajabi Basic total $2,148. That compares subscription charges only, not identical services or profit. If you need Kajabi’s teaching tools, include the cost and work of replacing them before calling the difference a saving.
Payment processing is separate
Genesize takes no platform percentage of Store sales. Stripe processing fees still apply. Kajabi says it does not take a platform revenue share, but payment processing applies too. Its fee guide explains an additional plan-based fee for directly connected third-party card processing in countries where Kajabi Payments is available; PayPal is excluded. The pricing page currently lists 2% on Basic for that fee. Do not apply it to every Kajabi sale or add it to Kajabi Payments transactions.
Build your budget from subscription + processing + any applicable provider fee + extra AI or contact capacity + other required tools. Include taxes and optional services where relevant. Neither “no platform commission” nor a lower monthly bill means selling has no costs.
Genesize’s saved-project limit measures projects kept in your workspace, not a monthly production quota. Paid AI credits refresh monthly on either billing interval. Trial terms are separate: 14 days, 400 total credits and up to 3 saved projects for eligible new subscribers, with a payment method required and renewal unless canceled.
Which platform should you choose?
- Choose Genesize for a focused written-product launch. You have expertise to package into an ebook, written course or useful resource and want creation and selling connected.
- Consider paid Genesize Creator for customer follow-up. You also need CRM and email, and its project, credit and sending allowances fit your plans.
- Consider Kajabi for a broader teaching business. Video, coaching or a customer community is part of what you sell today.
- Keep a working system when it still serves buyers. Try one new resource before replacing an established course library, community or subscription workflow.

Before moving an existing Kajabi business
Use this as a review checklist, not a claim that an automatic migration is available. Preserve what existing customers have paid for while testing a new workflow.
- List the promises. Include lessons, files, communities, certificates, updates and support. Mark which ones the new setup must retain.
- Check the content. Open exported files, review lesson structure and confirm the actual buyer experience on a phone.
- Map the payments and access. Existing subscriptions, receipts and customer entitlements need separate planning; changing a link does not transfer them.
- Check contacts and messages. Preserve relevant permissions and recreate only the follow-ups your new system supports.
- Test before changing live links. Use supported test modes or previews, then verify the price, purchase flow, delivery and support route.
