Course platform test sheet
Compare two platforms using the same small lesson and the same buyer requirements. Write your findings on a printed copy or a PDF annotation copy.
Use your browser’s Print command to print this sheet or save it as a PDF. This sheet has no answer fields or submission. The worksheet does not collect your notes.
1. Define the offer before testing
Separate essential requirements from nice extras. Do not put private customer data into a trial or AI prompt.
2. Inspect the finished lesson
Mark each item: shown / needs work / not tested. Add a lesson reference or one concrete observation.
| Check | Platform A: evidence | Platform B: evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Clear result: what can the learner do? | ||
| Worked example: are the choices explained? | ||
| Practice: can the learner try it? | ||
| Self-check: how will they spot mistakes? |
3. Inspect delivery and the full cost
| Requirement | Platform A | Platform B |
|---|---|---|
| Phone reading or playback, next lesson and saved progress | ||
| Purchase access and return access: test method and result | ||
| Required emails, triggers and plan limits | ||
| Subscription: currency, monthly or annual, amount due upfront | ||
| Processing, platform fees, AI limits and extra tools |
Use supported previews or a sandbox for purchase testing. Record what remains untested. An editor preview does not prove delivery after payment. Compare the same billing period and sales assumptions.
4. Make a decision you can explain
Already teaching customers? Keep current access working. Content files do not automatically transfer subscriptions, learner history or email permissions. This is an editorial worksheet, not a platform rating or a promise of results.
