Use the same brief for every option. Compare the plan you would actually buy, then record evidence instead of guessing. Read the Genesize, Podia and Kajabi comparison for a starting shortlist.

1. Set your requirements before comparing
For example, a video classroom is a must-have for a video-led course. It may be unnecessary for a downloadable guide. A lower price does not fix a missing requirement.
2. Give every option the same test
Create or upload one small, complete product sample.
Edit it and inspect the exported file or learner view.
Build one offer page and check it on a phone.
Use the provider’s sandbox or supported preview to check checkout and buyer access.
Check order records, email eligibility, plan limits and required extra tools.
A documented feature is not a hands-on pass. A preview is not proof of a successful payment or delivery. Do not make real purchases only to complete this worksheet.
3. Compare costs on the same basis
Use the same currency, billing period and sales assumption. Add the subscription, platform selling fees, payment processing, extra capacity and other tools. Keep tax-collection service fees separate from the tax collected for a government.
4. Make the decision
There is no automatic winner or score. Keep unknowns visible. If every option fails a requirement, change the shortlist rather than adding up unrelated strengths.
